Truck Driver/Feed Mill Technician/Live Animal transfer Driver-Brandon Colorado
Quality Control Coordinator-Ames IA
This position is located in Brandon, Colorado area. Responsible for the transfer of live animals or feed product, cleaning and maintaining trucks being used, while following quality processes and key measurements that have been put in place for this position.
Ideal candidates must have the following qualifications:
- Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs. on a daily basis; able to lift 15 lbs. to 30 lbs. repeatedly on a daily basis, able to lift and push 500 lbs. on a two-wheel cart when required.
- Able to squat to the floor, grip small objects with ease, and twist at least 45 degrees.
- Capable of repititive actions on a daily basis.
- Able to communicate clearly in English (verbally and written).
- Able to stand or walk for long periods of time on different surfaces, including concrete.
- Able to climb different types of ladders including feed bin ladders.
- Able to operate a fork lift, skid loader, lawnmower, tractor, pick-up truck and semi-trailer.
- Able to maintain balance on all types of surfaces including slippery surfaces.
- Able to climb mill or grain bin ladders and not be afraid of heights.
- Able to retain written and spoken instructions.
- Willing to work long hours, if necessary to meet expectations of the job.
- A minimum of high school diploma or G.E.D (General Education Development) diploma.

This position will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining bio-security quality standards, policies and processes. Responsible for performing routine bio-security inspections, safety and production SOP assessments of but not limited to livestock trailers, finishing barns and all functions of raising livestock.
Ideal candidates must have the following qualifications:
- Animal Science degree or equivalent experience.
- Able to travel using cost effective and timely commercial and private modes of transportation.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Agribusiness experience preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills-verbal, writing and tech ability.
